The approach

Three steps, every program.

Whatever the format, students move through the same three steps. It's what makes a single workshop feel like part of something, not a one off talk.

  1. Discover

Students work out their own strengths, including the ones they built through sport, part time work and helping out at home, and never counted.

  2. Explore

Pathways they may not know exist: TAFE, uni, apprenticeships, traineeships and work, and what each one actually looks like day to day.

  3. Connect

How to talk about themselves to employers, and a clear next step they can take after the session, not someday.

Programs

Pick the format. We shape the rest.

Every program is adjusted to your students, your timetable and your budget in a short conversation first.

Students who need more than a workshop

Small focus groups

A handful of students at a time, for the ones who are stuck, disengaged, or about to make a big decision and need space to talk it through.

  • Small enough for every voice
  • Built around one shared challenge
  • Can run over several weeks

10+years on the hiring side

Why schools bring Deanna in

An outside voice, from the hiring side.

It lands differently

Students listen differently to someone who has read hundreds of real applications and decided who got called back.

Works alongside your careers team

Designed to support what your careers adviser already does, not replace it.

Students' privacy comes first

No student is photographed or named without written consent from the school and their parents.

No promises of jobs. Students leave clearer, more confident, and with a real next step.

Questions schools ask

The practical bits.

How much does a school workshop cost?

School workshops are priced per student, usually between $50 and $100 depending on length and group size. Focus groups, one on one support and club workshops are quoted to suit your group.

Can you come to our school?

Yes, anywhere in Australia. Central Coast schools get an in person visit. Further away, Deanna can travel to you (travel fees may apply) or run the workshops online.

Which year levels do you work with?

Mostly Years 10 to 12, when subject choices and life after school get real. Content is adjusted for each year group.

Does this replace our careers adviser?

No. It's designed to support your careers team, with an outside voice from the hiring side that students often hear differently.

Do you photograph students?

Never without written consent from both the school and the student's parents or guardians.
